Last week was the final week of our Module. I am pleased to announce that I achieved all of my stated learning objectives. I am also extremely happy with all of the paintings that I have produced and photographs that I have displayed. I have hopefully got enough written and sketchbook work to support my module. I am really excited about the paintings that I have made and cannot wait to progress with my ideas in the next project. I think it’s really scary though, I only have one module left, then our huge exhibition at the Williamson Art Gallery, and then graduation : I cannot believe how fast the three years of university have gone, and if I’m honest, I really don’t want it to end.
But I definitely have to look at it as if it’s not an end, it’s merely a beginning, and if I keep that frame of mind, everything will be okay. I really hope to look back at myself or on this blog post in a couple of years and smile at who I was and what I will be in the future.
Speaking of which; I’m in the middle of submitting my GTTR application form to start a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. The form in taking forever to fill out and is an exhausting process, I think you should be accepted on the course, simply for just filling out the form! Haha!
Anyway here are some photographs of my current work all hung up in the studio:

I think its always good to read someone elses blog on the same subject to understand different perspectives.
