So, we're at the end of an extremely tiring yet joyful week. I spent most of the week with my beautiful son Quinn; we had so much fun as I made sure that we were out every single day. However, it's back to reality tomorrow were mummy has to go back to University and study for another couple of weeks.
My maternity leave officially ended this weekend too, so I sit here with my crappy mobile phone (I'll explain next.) waiting for a call to work in catering and waitressing for functions and private corporate parties... I'm actually quite excited to return to work because I could really do with the cash and also I've missed the satisfaction of a happy customer (strange, I know) but I feel that having a job gives you self worth....
Yeah, the phone thing.... my beautiful 3 MONTH OLD Nokia N8 with 16gb of built in memory, a 12.4 megapixel camera and ton's of amazing apps and unlimited internet decided to die on saturday, I don't know why or how but the screen just decided to not exist anymore... So to the shop I went on sunday only to be told that none of my Media can be salvaged because you cannot select the USB Menu on the screen as it is non-existant. so all of my images of the bungee jump, my current art work, and the past 2 or 3 months of my son's life disappeared to never be found again.... fair enough, the artwork photographs can be taken again, but I've lost everything else....it's quite sad that I relied on my phone so much haha. Never again.... I'm just going to have to back up all of my stuff on at least a weekly basis when I recieve my fixed shiny phone back in a couple of weeks.
Anyway after that rant I have some positives; I think I know what I am putting in my exhibition next month, but I'm not telling you. you'll all just have to wait and see....
I shall leave you with an absolutely gorgeous photograph that my Partner Jake took last week of our beautiful Quinny Bum <3 I love his laugh, it brings light to my soul at the end of every difficult day.
