After writing my blog entry the other day, I literally ran over to liverpool and grabbed myself a few copies of the 'Object of Dreams' magazine. I was very happy to be featuring next to articles/ads for the tate liverpool, local music festivals and other brilliant artist. also, extremely overwhelmed and excited to have been featured in the "WE LOVE IT/WE LIKE IT" section.
I have also noticed that I have had many more website page views since the article was released so hopefully this might mean a little bit of a break into the art world.
Tonight, I will be attending Liverpool's Light Night; a night which liverpool arranges once a year around the same time, where most of the art establishments in the city are open until very late. I hope to visit the C.U.C which is after all where the magazine discovered me, and I would like to visit the Bluecoat and see what's going down there.
I haven't been painting much recently as I have been ran over with written assignments for my university work. Today is one of those deadlines/hand in dates. (Thankgod I got an assignment out of the way).
I hope to be updating my website with new work soon, I feel that my 'Art Work' Section does not show a good enough progression from painting male figures, to then creating graphic fashion works. I suppose it doesn't have to, but I feel like I'm jumping the bridge a little.
