They are peices that none of you would have expected me to do, considering they're not painted, they are not expressive. They are infact, controlled, and detailed. I can't wait for you to see them!

Anyway, the time has come for me to talk about another Artist love of mine.
Last week I discussed the photography work of Rosie Harland- Smy; who's work is getting better by the second.
This week I want to talk about my dads artwork.
This man is the one person who practically dragged me into being an artist.I discovered my passion for art on summer days when there was nothing better to do than sit in his back garden or at the park and sketch in one of his books.
I used to copy his drawing on the same page and compare them, I wanted them to be just as amazing.....
I used to sit and stare in awe at how fantastic and imaginitive his peices were- extremely jealous at how he could just sit there and paint for hours without a peep, such concentration and mastery.
I don't think i have to really discuss the formal elements of the peices... as I think his paintings speak for themselves.
