'Competition Part 3' Oil on Canvas. 2ftx3ft
It is slightly different to the others, I chose to make the backgroud grey because after having a tutorial, it was suggested to me that the Ochre colour in the previous paintings were too similar to the skin colour. Now that I have tried out the grey tone, I totally agree with them and feel the image looks much cleaner, and stands out more. I think I could also imagine it in a gallery space. More so than the others.
I have one more to complete and the series should be finished. However, if Im honest with you; I am thoroughly enjoying these images, so I may just do a few more after completing all of the written work that needs doing! haha!
I'm also feeling rather proud of myself, keeping up with my blog. I have also noticed that my page veiws are consistent everyday which is nice :D (I hope it's not just my dad checking up on me everday haha!)
.
I'm planning a nice, relaxing and warm night in with my family tonight. I will also be buying Bridesmaids on DVD because it comes out today. I saw it in the Cinema and it was possibly, the best comedy of the year.
You should definitely check it out!
here is the trailer for those of you who haven't heard of it
