As my 18 month old little Quinn would say it (sticking his hands out with his palms facing up and empty) "alllll dooonnnnee"
Today, I completed my 'final' peice in the 'Competition' Series and it feels good.
I'm feeling positive for the next weeks to come as I still have two weeks from today for my module presentation, and I have done everything that I planned, which means I can take things a little easy for the rest of the term (not that I will, or want to) but hopefully I can even develop my work further.
Last week I also had a mid-term tutorial with my tutor, I have recieved the feedback today from our meeting and it is all really positive too. As I quote
"Your photographs again dealt with similar themes to your paintings, and the way you composed and confined your images within a frame made them compelling."
I can't ask for much more than that. It makes me so happy!
Although, now, I'm slightly uncertain about how to develop my work further.
The plan is to complete my written assignments and collate all my work together so I can look at it as a whole and once I've done this hopefully the idea will jump at me.
So here it is, the final painting in the series:
